    We ordered Angel Cakes Cupcakes for our wedding, and they were a hit! The cupcakes were moist, delicious, and beautifully decorated. We had a variety of flavors and dietary restrictions (vegan and gluten-free) and the Angel Cakes staff was super accommodating. My husband and I had a lot fun taste-testing various flavors ahead of time - they have so many unique flavors. Angel Cakes was communicative and easy to work with and delivered to our local venue for a minimal fee. FYI, you can also rent their cupcake stands if needed for an event. We will absolutely be getting more desserts from Angel Cakes in the future!

    I received a box of vegan cupcakes the day I came home from giving birth to my newborn. Now, these are the only cupcakes I ever think about because they are: 1) moist - not oily 2) great balance - not too sweet 3) delicious, colorful flavors - goodbye boring vanilla and plain chocolate! I'm no longer prisoner of preservative-packed vegan cupcakes from WF or overtly sweet vegan cupcakes from other bakeries! With postpartum brain, I forgot where they came from and had to immediately contact the sender. I googled Angel Cakes Cupcakes and was heartbroken to hear about Jen Angel's passing. RIP to a wonderful and beautiful community organizer, outstanding baker, and one of a kind soul. I hope her legacy and work continues one bite and one march at a time.

    Wonderful variety, including vegan & gluten-free. And the v and gf choices are not just some sad vanilla & chocolate cupcakes--they're just as adventurous & creative. Highly recommend the lemon and salted caramel cupcakes. I'm not a big chocolate fan, but my friends said the chocolate flavor ones were likewise delish. Easy to get to, but don't try to go on a Monday--they're closed and you'll just end up weeping in your car like me. The employees are kind, personable, and helpful. Go try it out!

    I stumbled upon this adorable architecture of a home , that turned up to be a cupcake shop ! Yum!! I took a wrong turn and I'm glad I did! Delicious cupcakes and I can't wait to come back on my next visit to Oakland . Amazing work ladies Support your local communities!
